Refund and Cancellation Policy

Introduction
At Travel Point Turkey, we understand that travel plans can change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, modifications, and refunds for tours and services booked through Travel Point Turkey.
By booking a tour or service with us, you agree to be bound by this policy. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before making a reservation with us.
Booking and Payment
All bookings require a deposit to confirm your reservation. The amount of deposit varies depending on the tour or service booked. Full payment is generally required 30 days before the tour start date for package tours, and 7 days before the tour start date for daily tours.
Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. All prices are quoted in Euro (€) unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation by Customer
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing via email at [email protected]. The cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your written notification.
The following cancellation charges will apply:
For Package Tours (Multi-Day Tours):
- 60 days or more before departure: 10% of the total tour price
- 59-30 days before departure: 30% of the total tour price
- 29-15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price
- 14-7 days before departure: 75% of the total tour price
- Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total tour price
For Daily Tours:
- 72 hours or more before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
- 48-72 hours before departure: 50% of the total tour price
- Less than 48 hours before departure or no-show: 100% of the total tour price
Cancellation by Travel Point Turkey
Travel Point Turkey reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient participants.
In case of cancellation by Travel Point Turkey:
- We will offer you an alternative tour of equivalent value if available
- If no suitable alternative is available or accepted, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid
- Travel Point Turkey is not responsible for any additional expenses you may have incurred such as visa fees, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights
Tour Modifications
If you wish to modify your booking (change tour date, add or remove participants, etc.), please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability and the following conditions:
- Modifications requested 30 days or more before departure: No additional charge (subject to availability)
- Modifications requested 15-29 days before departure: 15% administrative fee
- Modifications requested less than 15 days before departure: treated as a cancellation and new booking, subject to cancellation charges as outlined above
Refund Process
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment used for the original booking.
- Credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card
- Bank transfers will be refunded to the originating bank account
- PayPal payments will be refunded to the same PayPal account
Please note that bank charges and currency conversion costs may be deducted from the refund amount if applicable.
Non-Refundable Items
Certain items are non-refundable under any circumstances, including:
- Travel insurance premiums
- Visa application fees
- Special handling or service fees
- Any additional services or products purchased separately from the tour package
Late Arrival or No-Show
If you arrive late or fail to show up for your tour, no refund will be provided. We strongly recommend that you arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Travel Insurance
Travel Point Turkey strongly recommends that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost baggage. Your travel insurance policy may cover some cancellation fees in certain circumstances.
Force Majeure
Travel Point Turkey will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this policy resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, civil unrest, strikes, or epidemics.
In such cases, we will try to offer alternative arrangements or issue a credit for future travel, but refunds may be limited or not available.
Special Circumstances
We understand that sometimes cancellations occur due to serious illness, injury, or death in the family. In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible. We may consider offering more favorable terms upon receipt of appropriate documentation.
Changes to This Policy
Travel Point Turkey reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified policy.
